Social Giving

Just as social media has changed how we live, it’s now transforming the way we give. In fact, raising funds through social media networks was so popular and prevalent this year that the charitable giving concept is now widely referred to as social giving.

I'm loving the fact is not only a selfish tool but can also help the community, let's do some social giving in 2013: that's my resolution!

Elections Catalonia 2012

This infographic shows the result of the Catalan election in an easy way.
Separists parties topped the poll in Catalonia's regional elections.

The incoming regional government will press ahead for a referendum on independence, against the wishes of the Spanish Government in Madrid.

What is your view on the independence of Catalonia?

Where to live?

This infographic was an assignment for school.
It shows where it is better to live in order of safety and pollution.

For me it wasn't shocking that Brasil and Colombia have the most homicides.

But I didn't expect Canada would be the most polluting country!

Empty Planes

This infographic shows the number of empty seats in airplanes in one year.
This result shocked me.
In total we let 552 empty planes pollute our world for nothing...
Something to think about!

Meat pollutes

This infographic, which I made, shows the influence of eating meat for the environment.
It is much more than I would aspect.

Also shocking is that Denmark has the largest comsumption with a shocking 145,9 kg per person!

This infographic is very interesting.

It's about the sugar industry.
It's clear people are addicted to sugar.
And suprisingly sugar is as addictive as cocaine?!

State of Graphic Design

Being an journalism student Graphic Design is very important.

This infographic shows the state of Graphic Design.

I think it's good to know you learn the field the most on your internship (Ofcourse real life experience is the best).

The best place to get a job as a Graphic Designer in the US is California, nice to know. I wouldn't have a problem working there!

Watch out New York! There is a new Big Apple in town! The ' Just how big is Apple' infographic from bestcomputersciencedegrees.com illustrates how important Apple really is to us.

When we compare the 20 biggest US companies on the stock market Apple is clearly the biggest player with 508 billion dollars.

Apple is taking over the world with an Ipad being sold every 11 seconds.

They also almost sold more ios devices than cars.

How big? It's clear it's very big!

Redefining Christmas Traditions

This Graphic Design explains that more and more people decide to have an artificial tree for Christmas more then a real tree.

Over 3x more people use artificial trees in stead of real trees. Which I find rather sad.

We should start a new tradition: save money and save a real tree!

This blog will help you get a clear view on politics and society in the world.
